Diego Armando Maradona visited Kolkata on 6th & 7th December 2008. His trip was in aid of Indian Football School to be located adjacent to Eden City, Maheshtala.

Eden City Maheshtala is proud to host Diego Armando Maradona's first ever public function in Asia on 6th December 2008 morning organised by Maheshtala Municipality inside the project premises where he laid the foundation stone of Indian Football School and Maradona Sports Complex.

'More than 70,000 people including more than 700 future residents of Eden City Maheshtala and their families witnessed the historic event.
