Eden City Lakeside, Bonhooghly is the largest housing project in North Kolkata funded
through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). It is located at Bonhooghly,
off BT Road and opposite the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI)
post office. The project site is conveniently located, very close
to Dunlop Bridge, Second Vivekananda Setu and Belgharia Expressway.
The project is being developed through a Public Private Partnership
model with the Government of West Bengal. London Based F&C REIT Asset
Management is the FDI partner in the project.
The project is spread over 18 acres of land. Several G+15, G+12
and G+7 buildings comprising a total number of 1476 MIG & HIG
flats of 2, 3 & 4 bedrooms will be on offer to public. The sprawling
complex will have a residents’ club with swimming pool, community
halls, children’s play area, landscaped garden and a 70% open
space. It is adjacent to a lake which is spread over 10 acres.

The Building Plans have already been sanctioned and the project is scheduled to commence shortly.
The Project is one of its kinds in West Bengal. The prime reason
for being so is: rehabilitation of 800 families who are currently
living in dilapidated tenements of the area. These families will
be resettled in 800 modern 2 bedroom LIG flats each measuring 645
sq.ft, including super built up space in an enclosure exclusively
earmarked for them.
